WINS PROJECT

The WINS Project (Water Investment in Northern South Dakota) is a collaborative effort initiated by WEB Water, BDM Rural Water, and the city of Aberdeen. This regional drinking water plan is geared towards enhancing water system capacities, improving reliability, and ensuring the provision of safe drinking water to the area. The WINS Project plays a crucial role in addressing the needs of a growing population and supporting agricultural and industrial services in the region.

Various water system improvement projects are already under construction, with expansions incorporated into the designs to aid in the regional water need. Looking ahead, the Project Sponsors are diligently planning the next phases of the project, recognizing its significance as the largest water initiative in northern South Dakota since the inception of the original water system construction.
