EUREKA WEST BOOSTER STATION
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This project consists of the construction of a new pump station.
WHY THE PROJECT
System Expansion | Timeworn – needs replaced
Portions of the system around Eureka suffer from low capacity. Previous engineering studies identified a new booster station to be constructed west of Eureka to improve capacity in the area. Further analysis has determined that this new booster station could be used to increase capacity in the area and take the place of an existing booster station as well. The new Eureka West Booster will improve the system through increased capacities and eliminating the operation and maintenance costs of an existing pump station.
