ABOUT THE PROJECT
The water treatment plant currently relies on coal fired boilers for winter heating. To provide adequate heat for the expanded facility and a redundant fuel source, an existing obsolete coal boiler will be replaced with new propane fired boilers. The project will also include the addition of a bulk LP storage tank, hot water pumps, piping modifications, and miscellaneous electrical work.
WHY THE PROJECT
The current water treatment plant relies on coal fired boilers for winter heating. Due to the expansion of the plant, a superfluous boiler fuel source and outdated coil burner, the expanded water treatment plant required a new heat source.
